How to Book Your Photo Shoot and What To Expect Afterward

Consultation:

We offer a free consultation to all prospective clients, so you can visit the studio and view Mac’s artworks hanging on the walls. You’ll gain a greater understanding of the type of prints we can create, take a look at our range of custom photo albums and notecards.

This is a great time to discuss your vision for your session, what to expect and what to prepare for.

Consultations can be booked between 9am – 5pm weekdays.
Booking:
- Studio sessions take place between 9am and 4pm in the summer and 10am and 2pm during winter months.
- Weekdays and Weekend times are available.
- Weekends are booked up to three months in advance during Summer through to the end of the year. Book early to avoid missing your special date. Weekend sessions are priced at a higher rate.
- Once the decision to shoot with Mac has been made, the date and time of your session will be scheduled. The charge for the sitting fee or package is paid in full at time of booking to secure your scheduled session time and date.
- Payment can be done by phone with credit card or you may visit the studio.
- You will receive a receipt of payment and confirmation of your scheduled session via email or mail.
Portrait Session:
- Please arrive at the studio at your scheduled time.
- Allow two hours for your session.
- Parking is available at the rear of our building (Jackson and 7th).
- Take Elevator to 4th floor, take a left to E418
- A changing room is available for outfit changes.
- We provide cool water, coffee, tea.
- Time is allowed for snack breaks and comfort stops.
- Shoes are generally removed once in the shooting studio.
- Parents please let Mac direct your children once in his studio.
- Have fun!
Presentation appointment:
- At the time of booking we will schedule your presentation appointment for two weeks after your shoot.
- We do require all decision makers to attend this exclusive slide-show event, which takes place on weekday evenings, so prior knowledge of your partners schedule is helpful here. If one of you is unable to attend the booked appointment we do require that you reschedule.
- Please arrive at your scheduled time and allow two hours for this appointment.
- Payment for items purchased are paid in full at this time.
- Credit Cards are accepted.
- Prints will be ready in 4-6 weeks.
Framing:
- Framing appointments are booked once prints have been produced.
- Our design consultant can advise on frame choice.
- Frames will be ready in 4-8 weeks
