Arlene and Mike Baldassari of Hoboken brought their 5 year old daughter Sophie to the studio for Mac to capture her wonderful long hair before it was cut off and her sixteen inch ponytail was donated to Locks of Love.
This non-profit organization provides hairpieces for financially disadvantaged children around the country. The organization hopes to return a sense of self confidence and normalcy to children suffering hair loss by utilizing donated ponytails to provide the highest quality hair prosthetics.
We were thrilled to be involved and it was a lovely reminder of the importance of teaching our children to give back to the community in some way.
