Jen and Macs new home in Hoboken
Purchasing a new home within walking distance of the studio was both Mac and Jennifer’s prerequisite when they outgrew their condo in Hoboken. Taking on a house that had not been updated for decades and needed work in every room to make it habitable was not. However less than three months after signing for the house Mac and Jennifer moved their family into their new home just as a team of workmen moved out. Jennifer wove her magic using soft colors and fabrics throughout and deciding to wait a year or so before doing any major work on kitchen or bathrooms. Mac’s brother, Rob Hartshorn, drove in from Cleveland to paint murals in the girls room on the third floor.
This Christmas, their first in their home, Mac’s family and Jennifer’s mother joined them around the ceiling high tree to celebrate. They also hosted the studio Xmas party one snowy evening a week before the holidays.
